Venice Airport is the third most important airport in Italy. A modern terminal, rebuilt and enlarged in 2002, hosting scheduled and charter flights, and long-haul flights to the Middle East and North America. The airport terminal is located about 800 yards away from the water terminal where water taxis dock. The arrival/departure terminal is connected to the water terminal with the moving walkway. It takes no more than 10 minutes to reach the water taxi station.

Venice Guide and Boat has designed three different transfer options to go from Venice airport to your hotel in Venice, meeting different requirements and budgets. All arrival transfers include Meet&Greet service, so you won’t have to worry about finding your way to the water taxi terminal.

Your professional assistantwill meet you upon arrival right outside the custom area, passed the sliding door, holding a sign with your name. You will be taken to the water terminal, and will board your water taxi to reach your hotel in Venice. Trolleysare available at the baggage claim area and can be taken to the water taxi dock. If you have a lot of luggage and would like porters to help you, please ask for the optional porter service upon booking or to your assistant.

Please notice that a number of hotels, bed and breakfast or apartment in Venice don’t have a private jetty on a canal accessible to water taxi. Many hotels aren’t located along a canal so they can’t be reached directly by boat. If this the case of your hotel, your driver will drop you off at the closest possible landing stage. Your assistant will walk you to the hotel and, if necessary, could arrange porter service in Venice.
